My Approach
My photography approach is natural, relaxed, candid, documented and heartwarming. I blend in my personalisation and professionalism towards your entire day . From pre wedding to dance floor, my approach is unobtrusive yet attentive, reflecting your unique style and preferences. Prompt delivery of your edited photos online via pixieset, prints of your selected photos which gives you the option for high quality albums, to showcase your memories from your big day.
Booking
My booking process is simple and straightforward. If you like my work, feel free to send me an enquiry. We can set up a phone call, video call or if you are near me, we can even meet in person for a coffee to discuss the details about your amazing day. If you like me, I will email over the contract for you to review and sign, as well as in invoice for you to make a deposit payment to hold your date.
Pre-wedding
Obviously, I will keep in touch with you before your wedding. I will arrange a phone call/video call or if possible, meet up in person so that you share with me your awesome plans for the day and formulate a plan on how I can fit myself into those plans. You will fill in a questionnaire so that I can best serve you on your day and fit right in.
Bridal prep
Depending on what we have agreed to, about approximately two or three hours before your ceremony, I will arrive at your venue or wherever one of you is getting ready before your ceremony. I will capture details, and photograph your prep in a candid documentary style.
Ceremony
During your ceremony, the whole thing will be captured in a candid documentary style as well. Your ceremony will be unobstructed, as I will be capturing the moments in a discreet manner while getting the best angles. And I will also be looking out for guests showing their emotions.
Post ceremony
After your ceremony, I like to do group shots. If you have confetti arranged to be thrown during your grand exit, this will make such awesome pictures!!!!!!! From our pre-wedding meeting, you would have told me all of your important people that you would like group photos with. I will organise those groups into the frame, take a few good photos, having some beautiful natural laughs!
Newly wedded couples shoot
After the group shots, I will have a small session with you guys for approximately 20 minutes to half an hour depending on the timeframe. Do not worry, I don’t tend to keep you away for long from your guests. On the contrary, if you want me to spend longer than taking photos of just the two of you, I am down for that as well. This is my favorite part of the day. The opportunity to capture the newly wedded couple around the venue or whichever location you would like your shoot to be at.
Reception
This will be entirely captured in documentary candid style. Mix of focusing the top table and guests' reactions. I will photograph all the important events such as guests' emotions, laughter, speeches etc.
After Dinner
This entirely depends on the season, weather and where the sun is in the sky. If you will do my best to take you out for a short shoot during the golden hour. Light can be real, dreamy and beautiful. If you have sparkles planned, I would love to have some sparkle shots too.
After Party
This will be the moment when you will have your first dance in the open floor dance. I will be capturing this documentary style for you to look back on. I will be taking pictures of guests enjoying themselves dancing and partying. Once again, all documentary style for you, your family and friends to look back on.
Sneak peaks and 8 weeks later
I will try to get some sneak peaks a few days later after your wedding. It entirely depends on how busy I am during the period. I will aim to deliver a few hand picked edited images for you to keep you all going until you receive your full gallery. And for social media announcements.
8 weeks later, you will receive your online gallery. I use Pixieset for my online albums. It will be password protected. You are able to download the images from the album and you can share the album with all your family and friends that were at the wedding. You can print the photos or if you like.
If you prefer, I can arrange to have your images printed by a high quality professional print lab. I will be happy to arrange to do this at an extra cost.
I am also happy to provide physical albums as well. It is best that we discuss this together so that I can provide the best album for you! You do not need to choose this straightaway. It can be after I have delivered your images digitally.
